FREE this weekend!!

Again...thanks goes out to ABC 15 for these...

If you are up for a bit of a drive and wanting to get out of the heat the city of Snowflake, AZ (home to the beautiful and talented Ms. Tiffany Thomas!) is hosting their annual Pioneer Days with a craftshow (that's what perks up my ears!!) and all kinds of other fun stuff that is FREEEEE!!!!

Click here for a complete listing of events.

Another worthwhile day trip this weekend might be to head on out to Sedona for their National Day of the Cowboy event! Click here for more information!!

Have a GREAT weekend and if you go to these events be sure to comment on them so I'll know if I should include them next year or not!!

Free Sundays at the Heard Museum

thanks to ABC 15 I stumbled across these freebies...I've never been to this museum so since FREE is my favorite price, I might have to check them out!!

Cerreta Candy Company

One FREE thing to do in Phoenix that is always fun for kids and adults alike is a trip to the Cerreta Candy Company! They offer FREE 30 minute guided tours Monday-Friday at 10am and 1pm. You always get a free piece of chocolate (well I always have when I've gone!) but the trick is to leave without spending a bunch of money on CANDY!!

Anyone wanna plan a field trip?? Let me know and I'll advertise it here on my blog and maybe we can even join you!!

Click here to check out the Cerreta Candy Website!

Cheap Movie!!

Kung Fu Panda this Sat (June 11) at AMC Arrowhead. 10 am. Tickets only $3!!!!

Our church rented out the theater so it's first come, first served until the tickets are gone!!

Text me if you want a ticket and I'll reserve one for you! Abbie and I can't go (she has a meet) but Tim and the other kids will probably be there!

Fourth of July Question!!

This will be the first year in many that we don't travel to California for the Datria Family Reunion on the Fourth of July!! Our kids are sad so we'd like to do something to build some AWESOME memories on the 4th this year! Have any of you gone to the Peoria All American Festival? Is it worth the $5 admission fee (we'd have to pay $20 because two of our kids are over the age limit)...will the kids be bored or is there enough fun things for them to do?? Is it a trap inside to just get us to spend more money?? These are some of the things that plague me about the idea...we've never been...

Do you have any other great ideas?? We can buy fireworks in Peoria but it's illegal to set them off here...so where CAN we set them off??

How do you make the 4th of July special??

VBS!!!

VBS is always a FUN and inexpensive way for our kids to have some fun during the summer!! We are attending VBS at Horizons Community Church and the theme is Hometown Nazareth...I know we'll have a blast!!

**I just found out online registration is closed for Horizons...but there are signs for VBS all over the Valley, I'm sure you can find one near you if you're not connected to a church...or if your church doesn't offer one**
